Information
Jan Juc Studio by Eldridge Anderson is a home that feels deeply connected to its coastal setting. Elevated beneath a canopy of mature eucalypts, the project blurs the boundary between architecture and landscape through a restrained palette of timber, steel and carefully filtered light. Conceived as both a family home and the architects' own studio, its flexible open plan is organised around a central core, allowing spaces to adapt over time while maintaining a calm, uncluttered character. Operable timber screens temper sunlight, invite sea breezes and create a constantly shifting play of light and shadow, resulting in a building that is as much about atmosphere and everyday ritual as it is about form.
