Designed by WORKCRAFT on Wadawurrung Country near Barwon Heads, First House Past the Trees is shaped by three protected Moonah trees that define the site. The home is arranged as a series of distinct pavilions, balancing openness and privacy while carefully framing views into the surrounding landscape. Elevated lightly above the ground and finished with a restrained palette of fibre cement, timber and blockwork, the architecture responds quietly to its setting, allowing light, materiality and the existing landscape to shape the experience of living within it.
